Denver-based PenCol Compounding Pharmacy recently earned national industry recognition from the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB) for its commitment to safety and outstanding quality. PCAB accreditation validates PenCol's longstanding dedication to the highest standards possible for its compounding practice, staff and customers in Colorado and in its licensed states: Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Wyoming.
PenCol is the second pharmacy in Colorado to receive PCAB accreditation and one of only 150 pharmacies in the U.S. that have attained the distinction. PCAB sets strict and comprehensive standards for compounding and recognizes independent pharmacies across the country for exceptional services. It provides patients and prescribers with a means to select pharmacies that meet standardized quality and safety requirements.

For more than 40 years, PenCol has created compounded prescriptions for members of the general public, hospitals, dentists and veterinarians with quality ingredients. Compounding is the practice of mixing medications to fit unique needs of patients who cannot take mass-produced drugs due to allergies, physical incapability, preference or other prohibitive conditions.
