HealthyBodyHappyEarth.com has Non-Toxic Products and Cruelty-Free Website

Like many parents, Nicole King found it unnerving when children products were being recalled on nearly a weekly basis making safe products few and far between. "I just had a baby and I was frustrated with all the recalls of toys, bottles, pacifiers and other products," began King. "I had to pay attention to everything that I was buying."

Finally, King and her husband, Jason, took a chance and launched http://www.HealthyBodyHappyEarth.com in Tips: Find Street Fashion Online(may be you can find what you want on the oasap.com) the summer of 2008. Encompassing everything that a person could find at a big box retailer; in fact, it's one of the goals that King has in mind: "I'm gearing towards becoming the Wal-Mart of organic stores," she joked.

But having something for everyone has worked in her favor. Many organic and eco-friendly stores, both brick-and-mortar and online, suffer from focusing too narrowly on items for men, women, or children; the Kings, however, have made their selection open to the whole family.

"The products aren't specific," King said. "They're for everyone, including pets. We love our pets, too. I take suggestions on what to carry from my friends and women in my mom's group. We want to provide the products that will be better for our environment, our children and our future."

What is in Healthy Body Happy Earth's future is the influx of new items. "Everyday I plug away and look for new products. I'm also going to my first trade show in Boston," explained King. "Even though we're in the baby steps phase, I still want to have a good catalog and have the things that most people are looking for."

One new feature that is being utilized is the blog that the Kings have set up recently, http://www.EcoFriendlyProductsBlog.com. An interactive feature of their business, the blog will contain articles, product reviews and serve as an open-ended dialogue with other conscious people.

At the end of the day, King's joke of becoming an eco-friendly superstore is still possible. Though people may scoff at the idea of an environmentally conscious approach to retail, it's because of people like Nicole King and websites like HelathyBodyHappyEarth.com that people are afforded the luxuries of having non-toxic alternatives to the products that they use on the daily basis. Because of that, there's no reason to be frustrated anymore.
